The Basics

Biomagnetic adjustment therapy uses muscle testing and the northern polarity of therapy magnets.

Muscle testing is a system of neurons and muscles interconnected. Muscle testing is able to tap into our bodies way of communicating. When two muscle groups are engaged your muscles expand or contract indicating a 'positive' and 'negative' response. Muscle testing is similar to reflexes but designed to function differently.

Did you know? The scientific name for muscle testing is poly-synaptic muscular response.

Believe it or not, the problem isn’t that our bodies don’t know what’s wrong. Our bodies know exactly what’s wrong and how to fix it. The issue is having enough energy to make those repairs. Most of the time, our bodies are working as hard as they can but lack the support they need. That’s where magnets come in. Think of magnets as a "battery pack" for your body, providing the energy needed to complete essential tasks and give you relief.

Northern polarity magnets provide energy at a cellular level.

History

Biomagnetics is a science with a background of over 2,000 years worth of experimentation and use. It's noteworthy to mention Paracelsus, a 14th century physician and alchemist who reasoned that since magnets have the power to attract iron, perhaps they also can attract diseases and leach them from the body.  Albert Roy Davis, PHD, is known as the founder of mono polar biomagnetic effects, he has some great books to check out. The research is endless so let's dive in!

What is a magnet?

The images that usually come to mind when you think of a magnet are refrigerator magnets or horseshoe magnets. We're not talking about those kind!

A magnet is an object that produces a magnetic field, the magnetic field is invisible. There are two magnetic poles, north and south. The northern polarity gives off a negative charge, which is healthy for the body and produces alkalinity.

Important: the material, the magnetic pole, gauss and source of the magnet matters!  Proper training is vital, or the use of magnets can be more harmful than beneficial. Never use or receive treatment with the southern pole / positive charge of magnets.

NORTHERN POLARITY:

This modality of Biomagnetic adjustment therapy only uses the northern polarity. Why?

As mentioned, utilizing the northern polarity of the magnet brings alkalinity to the body, balancing pH. An alkaline environment is uninhabitable to pathogens. The northern polarity assists in reducing acidity, inflammation, stimulates the mitochondria and more. The North Pole (magnet) creates a negative ion state or what is observed as a counter-clockwise electron spin. This is the healthy state of cell tissue.

The southern polarity acidifies the body, weakening it. A quick google search will enumerate the health problems an acidic body can cause (e.g. headache, fatigue, unhealthy cells, organ toxicity...), therefore the southern polarity is never used.

WHAT IS pH?

"The pH balance plays an important role in the chemical makeup of the human body. The term "pH" refers to whether a substance is an acid, an alkaline (also known as basic), or neutral.

In the human body, the pH of bodily fluids, organs, and other components can have an influence on the biochemical reactions that support various functions, such as digestion, metabolism, and hormonal production. Keeping the body's pH balanced allows the body to function in a state of equilibrium or homeostasis." - Emily Brown, MPH, verywellhealth.com (Hopkins E, Sanvictores T, Sharma S. Physiology, acid-base balance. In: StatPearls. Treasure Island (FL): StatPearls Publishing.)

The northern polarity of a magnet helps balance pH at a quantum level.

How exactly do magnets work?

Everything in the world, including our bodies, is primarily made up of four elements: nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon. These atoms produce and carry energy. When northern polarity magnets are placed on the body, their magnetic fields interact with our atoms, helping to balance pH levels. By doing the heavy lifting, magnets provide the energy your body needs to perform its natural healing processes.

What is Muscle Testing? What does Poly Synaptic Muscular Response Mean?

The scientific name for Muscle Testing is Poly-Synaptic Muscular Response. Let’s break it down:

Poly = Many

Synaptic = A synapse is a structure that permits a neuron (or nerve cell) to pass an electrical or chemical signal to another neuron. Electrical synapses are a direct connection between two neurons.

Muscular Response = how our muscles contract or expand when given a command, similar to a reflex.

How does Muscle Testing / Poly Synaptic Muscular Response work?

Our bodies conduct electricity! Have you ever used a closed circuit energy ball in science class?

These "Energy Balls" light up and emit sounds because our bodies can conduct electricity. Inside the Energy Ball is an open circuit. By touching both sensors, the circuit closes, allowing electrons to flow through your body. Our skin, especially the water (hydrogen and oxygen) in our body, is a good conductor, passing electrons easily and activating the Energy Ball.

As biomagnetic vitalists, we tap into this biomagnetic electrical communication using the polysynaptic muscular response. Cells and pathogens (bacteria, viruses, etc.) communicate through biomagnetic waves. Even organisms like fish use electrical communication—google it, it's fascinating!

By understanding and harnessing this natural electrical communication, we can enhance the body's healing processes. Biomagnetic therapy utilizes the body's electrical pathways to balance pH levels and support overall wellness.

Our bodies use four main areas in the brain for this electrical communication and to achieve the polysynaptic muscular response:

  • Premotor Cortex: Involved in the planning and execution of movements.

  • Superior Temporal Cortex: Processes auditory information and is crucial for understanding speech and language.

  • Supramarginal Gyrus: Plays a role in perception and action, integrating sensory information.

  • Prefrontal Cortex: Responsible for complex behaviors, decision-making, and moderating social behavior.

WHY IS MUSCLE TESTING (POLY SYNAPTIC MUSCULAR RESPONSE) USED IN THERAPY?

Now you know how it works, but why do we use it? The polysynaptic muscular response (PSMR) is similar to a reflex, but more sophisticated. Unlike a reflex, which is an automatic response, PSMR can be intentionally engaged. This response helps us determine where to place the magnets during Biomagnetic Adjustment Therapy.

A key component of this therapy is identifying the root causes of health issues. We use the polysynaptic muscular response to obtain "positive" or "negative" feedback from your body. PSMR helps us identify three main things: aggressors that negatively affect your health, benefactors that aid in restoration, and appropriate biomagnetic procedures.

USE IT FOR YOURSELF

So what better way than to use that same communication as a tool to use in our daily lives to tailor what we need? What foods are most beneficial? Vitamins? Essential oils? Exercise routine? Take charge of your health and feel confident that you're doing exactly what your body needs.
